Our new websites and landing page are ready to rock and roll! We now offer server side antispam and antivirus filtering for as little as £1 per mailbox per month. This is designed to filter most spam before it reaches your computer. For more information feel free to give us a call.

Our new servers are now fully operational. Both website and email clients will notice a massive increase in server speed. For those who are interested, our hosting and email are now sat on a multi platform Intel Core2Duo E6700 (Conroe) - 2 x 2.67Ghz 4MB L2 Cache 19” rack servers which are loaded with 2GB DDR2 PC5300 ram each.

Most of Netcom’s clients managed to escape the floods relatively unmarked. We helped the few that did have difficulties get back up and running as soon as possible with loan machines and server relocation. Im happy to say that all are now fully operational.

Terms and Conditions:
1) Duration of contract
Your service will last for the duration that you have paid for. If you order and pay for a yearly service on the 14th of March 2006, your service will expire on the 14th of March 2007 (unless additional payment is provided to renew the service prior to expiration). We reserve the right to suspend / terminate your service with us should you be found to use your service outside of our '(Un)Acceptable Use' policy (please refer to section 3).
2) Quality of service
We aim to provide our users with the best possible services, at the best possible prices. We strive to maintain top-level 'uptime'. Netcom puts our customers first. We believe that customer support is a crucial part of any self-respecting company, and thus provide a comprehensive support system at http://support.netcomts.co.uk. Our strong support team is a key part in providing a quality service to you. Such high quality can only be achieved if users adhere to the few requirements outlined in our Terms & Conditions (particular attention to be paid to section 3).
3) (Un)Acceptable Use Policy
In an ideal world, we would love our users to have unlimited freedom. This is unfortunately not practical. We at Netcom must insist that users do not abuse, or in any way use our services in any of the following manners, or in such a manner which may lead to the degradation in service quality for others:
Users must not:
* Use the service(s) provided by us, to promote or propagate warez or pirated software / music, pornography, or other similar illegal activities.
* Use of our service(s) provided by us, to Spam, Hack, DoS Attacks or any similar activities.
* Do anything that may infringe upon the reputation of Netcom, Netcom Technologies or any business working on behalf of or in conjunction with Netcom Technologies.
4) Abusive Remarks
Discrimination, racialism, and remarks regarding Netcom, Netcom Technologies or any business working on behalf of or in conjunction with Netcom Technologies staff, members, customers, and company sponsors is regarded as an offence, and can lead to suspension or termination of your account and permanent ban on all our systems, you will not have the right to claim a refund or use legal action against us.
5) Contract Renegotiation
If Netcom, Netcom Technologies or any business working on behalf of or in conjunction with Netcom Technologies receives an unforeseen price increase in our bandwidth, colocation costs and/or circumstances beyond its control that alter the performance of the service we have may have to renegotiate your current contract before your next payment, unfortunately this may result in an increase in your monthly payments.
6) Indemnity
The User shall indemnify Netcom, Netcom Technologies or any business working on behalf of or in conjunction with Netcom Technologies against any and all claims, damages, actions, liabilities, costs and expenses including reasonable lawyer's fee and expenses arising out of:
The User breaching or its non-observance of these Terms and Conditions; or
Any breach or inaccuracy in any of the User's representation or warranties.
7) Changing our terms
Netcom, Netcom Technologies or any business working on behalf of or in conjunction with Netcom Technologies reserve the right to change the terms and conditions without prior notice.
8) Refunds
Once payment has been received for a service hosted by Netcom, Netcom Technologies or any business working on behalf of or in conjunction with Netcom Technologies you cannot claim or we cannot give you a refund under any circumstances unless your service has not been installed within 14 days. In the unlikely of this happening a full refund would be issued.
9) Faults, Downtime and Errors
The User accepts that there may occasionally be problems with computers and telecommunication systems. Consequently the User accepts that there may be periods of downtime, relating to the Services and/or Web Site, in which the User cannot access these. However, Netcom, Netcom Technologies or any business working on behalf of or in conjunction with Netcom Technologies will maintain reasonable effort to minimize these periods. The User accepts that is such cases of downtime, they will have no claim of breach of contract. When possible Netcom, Netcom Technologies or any business working on behalf of or in conjunction with Netcom Technologies will notify the User of predicted downtime and/or scheduled downtime for upgrades, updates, etc.
10) Subscriptions and reoccurring payments
Netcom, Netcom Technologies or any business working on behalf of or in conjunction with Netcom Technologies uses a subscription service for some our payments, please note, that it’s the Users job to cancel this subscription should he/she not wish to carry on the service. Netcom, Netcom Technologies or any business working on behalf of or in conjunction with Netcom Technologies will not give refunds under any circumstances should the User forget to cancel.
The above are very basic rules that 99% of people comply with, without having to think about it. You are free to use our services as long and as often as you please - whenever you please, as long as you conform to the Acceptable Use Policy. Users who are found, beyond a doubt, to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions, will have their account status seriously reviewed, leading to either suspension, or termination without a refund.
